Hi, I'm Emily. I'm a designer, a storyteller, and a nice person :)
When we were asked to create a handmade poetry book in 8th grade, most kids typed 10 poems into a Word doc with clip art. I was the kid who wrote and designed a 21-poem book in Photoshop using my own artwork. I transformed years of nagging thoughts and existential dread into a set of single-page poems. A week later, my teacher gave me a hug when she returned the book. We've kept in touch ever since.
I'm ambitious. I put my heart into everything I do. I sift through the mess to find the core idea — then I communicate it as simply and authentically as possible.
I take pride in telling stories that move and connect people. I'm looking to work with smart, hardworking, and kind people who harness storytelling for good.

Every decision has side effects. I design with the full picture in mind. Brand, product, and the way people actually use it.
Data shows what's happening. Insight explains why it's important. I dig into the “why?”, using what I learn to create clarity.
